ASA
Australian Sheepadoodle Australia (ASA) is located in the beautiful Shire of Villages in The Upper Lachlan Valley of NSW. My love of the Old English Sheepdog (OES) has been with me since I saw the very first television Dulux Ad and the rest as they say 'is history'.
I bought my first OES when I moved from home at the age of 18, the puppy came to me as an eight-week old ball of fluff. Over the last eight years she has been through thick and thin with me and continues to be one of the great loves of my life. Next into the family came many more fluff balls for us to love and care for.
In October 2015 my husband and I welcomed to our life our first beautiful daughter. Family is one of the most important things in my life and my sisters are my best friends. We are firm believers that a kennel environment is counter-productive for the physical and mental welfare of dogs as they receive no stimulation.

The Sheepadoodle is a purebred Old English Sheepdog bred to a purebred Standard Poodle.

Our dream came true!
From a dream to reality
When my husband and I bought our very own farm in 2013, the time became right to realise my dreams of breeding not the pure bred OES but the Sheepadoodle. A few years previous to this a friend who had been travelling extensively in The America’s told me of her encounter with this hybrid cross. I began extensive research and decided that this was a natural progression for me, and where I wanted to end up.
Enter into our lives “Harry”.
We bought Harry, a chocolate and white Parti miniature poodle. Harry was a whole new learning curve for me. He is intuitive, kind and gentle. He has Einstein capabilities and buckets of “street smarts”. He is the Yang that I was looking for to compliment the OES Ying. It was a very long wait for him to reach 12 months of age so that we could begin the testing procedures that we hoped would make him our “stud”. Nothing moves at a rapid pace in the breeding world, which is why only the super patient succeeds.
Harry’s testing’s are perfect in more ways than we could have hoped and will also be the sire to our multi-gen puppies.
Australian Sheepadoodle Australia is now a reality.
